 This course analyses models in the teaching and learning process, from the range of philosophical principles in education for students to acquire skills in evaluating educational programs and its implementations in school. Candidates will also analyse and criticize a variety of teaching design models and of feedback to improve the models. Comparative study for related models, based on the trends and development in the theory of learning, teaching strategies as well as the recent technology will be carried out.

Kursus ini bertujuan untuk membolehkan pelajar melibatkan diri secara kritis dan analitis berkenaan amalan pengajaran serta penekanan yang akan diberi terhadap pelbagai model pengajaran bersifat tradisional, kontemporari danj uga model alternative bagi menghasilkan dapatan pembelajaran dan kumpulan-kumpulan pelajar yang diinginkan. Perbincangan juga akan berkitar berkenaan isu-isu yang timbul dari segi nilai, sikap dan kepercayaan yang tersirat dalam Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan serta pengaruh teknologi dan isu-isu kontemporari terhadap amalan pengajaran dan pembelajaran masa kini.
